Named for the patron saint of Santa Fe, this 80-room historic hotel just one block from Santa Fe’s famous plaza, endeavors to help guests experience the spirt of this unique city’s long history. The décor features handcrafted wood furniture made boy local artisans and inspired by the nearby Palace of the Governors. The Hotel St. Francis is listed on the National Register of Historic places yet offers guests luxurious accommodations and amenities, including a popular onsite Tabla Los Santos restaurant focusing on local cuisine and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also the street side Verandah called the Loggia. There is free Wi-Fi, Free seasonal walking tours of historic Santa Fe shuttle service between each Santa Fe Heritage Hotel, indoor and outdoor patio and discounts for local shops, restaurants and attractions It is Santa Fe’s oldest historic hotel and it is pet friendly. Great location but rooms really dated

For the price, not a good value. The hotel is centrally located and has a lovely lobby and staff. However, its an old building, and the rooms are quite small. Inadequate electrical outlets and a very small bathroom. Though nostalgia for a bygone period is nice, better to have enough electricity to use a blow dryer and a computer. And its nice to have room to turn around in the bathroom. Staff couldn't be nicer; dining good, location excellent.

The Hotel St. Francis is a simple hotel with clean and comfortable furnishings. Nothing extravagant yet very comfortable. Windows seemed to be old/original, thus lots of noise and temperature leakage. No coffee in the rooms. Odd bathroom set-up with washbasin in main bedroom and a step-up to get to the toilet/shower room.
