This hotel is located in a quite residential area, ten minutes taxi from Plaza de Armas and from the airport. It has all the services one needs for a short stay in Cusco: rooms are small (at least our), good bedding for a nice sleep, clean bathroom although a bit old-ish, breakfast is excellent (Karina is incredibly nice), service is efficient, friendly, and really attentive and kind. They will give you all kind of information and recommendations, including excursions. They also provide room service with good food and reasonable prices. Highly recommendable

This little gem was an amazing find! We stayed 1 night on our way in to the Sacred Valley and another night on our way home. I've rarely felt that a hotel owner payed more close attention to every detail of our stay. I believe the owner (Peggy) told me that there are a total of 17 rooms, and it was quiet and peaceful with soothing colors and decor that was perfection. Hot tea service in the salas on every floor 24-hours a day, The staff was incredibly helpful (especially Darvin!) when it came to any questions we had about the area, flights, restaurants, etc. - they picked us up and delivered us back to the airport, and wouldn't let us lift a finger, even arranged for taxi rides wherever we wanted to go, providing a cell phone in order to call the desk when we were ready to have a taxi pick us up for return. Everything was impeccably clean, beautiful hard wood floors, not a flaw. Breakfast was amazing with delicious Peruvian coffee and both serve-yourself and made to order food options, all included in the very reasonable price. It was a quiet neighborhood and only minutes from downtown sites. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was to stay at Hotel Torre Dorado! Thank you all for the treat :)
