This 270-room property has served the Hudson Valley for 70 years, formerly as the Granit Hotel. It’s surrounded by the Shawangunk Mountains, and is just 2 miles from the Minnewaska Trail and state park. There are many nearby outdoor recreation options each season, such as river cruises, fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking in the spring and summer; apple picking in the fall, and ice-skating and snow tubing in the winter.
There are eight floors of guestrooms; some have balconies with mountain or golf course views. Standard amenities include marble bathrooms, cable television and free Wi-Fi. Rooms have either two double beds, two queen or one king bed. Suites also have whirlpool baths, fireplaces and separate living rooms.
Onsite, there are plenty of amenities to keep families happy, including an indoor and outdoor pool, playground, mini-golf course, arcade, basketball and tennis courts and snow tubing in the winter. Adults are welcome to enjoy the 18-hole golf course, spa and fitness center.

After the spa got a new owner everything turned up side down! The building need total renovation but at least it was clean with old owners and there was really good breakfast buffet. Facilities were still working like spa, indoor out door water pool. Now, after reopening everything is down. Nice place but need a good business plan to repair!
The rooms and the amenities were OK. The spa and gym left a lot to be desired. The facilities were adequate for our purposes including the auditorium and the dining room. The pool was unusable. The golf course was OK.
