HYATT house Houston/Energy Corridor is a nice hotel for families with kids to go. The hotel is just around the corner from the Texas Rock Gym and Military Museum of Texas. This 3-star hotel has 121 suites. Each suite includes kitchenette and free high-speed internet. This Houston location also has a babysitting, fitness center, swimming pool, nearby golf course and tennis courts. Lupe Tortilla’s, Carrabbas Italian Grill and Cattleguard are all kid-friendly restaurants that are good and are near the hotel.

We have stayed here now a couple times. Family lives in Houston so we visit. It is nice that they have kitchen and it's in a decent location for us, although it can be a little noisy as it's near the freeway. The beds for me are a little too soft but my wife likes them. The hotel is clean which is a plus but some things are a little run down, simple things like the bathroom door didn't shut all the way unless we slammed the door and the bathroom fan turns off intermittently. Nothing really big but does take a factor when rating the hotel. We would obviously stay here again as we have stayed here a few times already. Worth it if you can get the rooms for $100 or cheaper.

Great affordable secret in the energy quarter

This hotel is top notch, very clean and modern feel, beds ultra comfortable including the pull out sofa, breakfast was very fresh, hot, and offered a great variety of choices including an omelet bar. Staff was very personable and attentive.
