Overview

The Hyatt Regency Aurora/Denver Conference Center is brand new! The biggest draw is the location, close to Anschutz Medical Campus and Denver International Airport and a half-mile from CU’s medical campus and a straight shot to Johnson & Wales University. There are golf courses situated nearby, and easy access to local sporting events. The hotel has oversized guestrooms that all come standard with a large 55-inch flat-screen, coffeemaker, iHome alarm clock radio, hair dryer, safe, refrigerator and more. Families also enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and in the guestrooms. There is a full-service restaurant with a patio, complimentary shuttle to restaurants and breweries, an outdoor pool, fitness center and plenty of onsite parking.

Reviews

Simple free coffee in lobby please.

As a bonvoy titanium and hilton diamond member, I was not impressed enough to stay again here. The hotel is glamorous, but no free coffee in lobby and confusing garage topped with poor bar (no menu provided) service and check in service (rushed me when another guest arrived) bothers me.

It's nice, but....

It’s nice, but the airport shuttle doesn’t go to the airport, coming or going. They take you to a train station a few miles away. I have no idea why as they have a limo service that will take you straight to the airport for roughly $60. Uber et al. runs high 20s to low 30s, which is the option I took.

The Hyatt in Aurora, CO is nice and I was there for a conference. The hotel is everything you’d expect from a Hyatt and the room was clean and comfortable. I’m perplexed why a higher end hotel would not take you directly to the airport. Maybe it’s some city/county/airport regulation; who knows. What I do know is that when I need to make it the airport on time, I don’t want to be stranded at the train station.

Obviously it’s the reader’s decision on how you want to arrange transportation if you choose this hotel. Fortunately for me I can write the transportation cost off; your mileage may vary.
