Place was understaffed - be prepared to wait

by andrewcabilan

I was at this hotel simply because the event I went to was at the hotel - it was convenient. My previous stays at Hyatt Hotels have been excellent to exemplary - this was not the case with this one. Arriving Friday night to check in, there was a MASSIVE queue waiting and only ONE person at the front desk. Had to wait almost an hour to be completely checked in. The staff at the restaurant was also understaffed and even during off-peak times, the wait staff did not know how to multi-task. Since there was no host/hostess, the wait staff also had to serve as the hosts - which I find bizarre for a major hotel in a downtown location. Overall, if I had a choice, I would not return here on my own free will.

Great place and location to stay for events at the Convention center

by 16arandall2016

We attended the Galaxy Con - this is a great place to stay with cold weather outside. We could walk along the sky walks back and forth to the convention center. Super Convenient - no need for coats to check.
