Lovely hotel and wonderful staff

by janalibor

My 8 year old little boy is autistic and the hotel has been just fantastic . this morning there was a specialty laid out table and a cake , and the staff sand happy birthday to him. One very happy little boy we have had a lovely time and we will be sorry to go home tomorrow. As ever Iberostar has proved the brand to be trusted for us , and we always use them now .

Fab Family Holiday

After much time and effort spent trying to get the booking right with Voyage Prive (confusion over which hotel, options etc), the lovely people at Iberostar Albufera Park were Brilliant - my embarrassing lack of Spanish language skills were overlooked on a daily basis by multilingual staff who were ALWAYS very happy to assist, with a smile, and great nature towards our Little One.

Even at the end of the Summer season, the resort still catered for all with programmes of activities and classes for Adults and Children, taken by events team members who were able to interact with all ages and nationalities with the kind of ease that shames this Old Brit!

The accommodation was excellent - our choice was a side sea view family room that had a kitchen/diner/lounge in one, with a bathroom and bedroom off it, and a nice little veranda.

The food on offer was marvellous too- a vast array of hot and cold options for 'starters' and 'mains' in a buffet style, and a collection of sweets, pastries and ice cream, and a selection of cut and whole fruit. We went 'all inclusive' so the drinks didnt stop - by that I mean tea, coffee, water (still/sparkling), and soft drinks) - whilst not teatotal, we havent an appetite for alcoholic beverages so cant really opine about that....

The Childrens pool(s) were Great - three slides to go down in a landscaped/nature-themed setting with water squirting up from the floor in places, and out from the walls between slides; max depth of the water in the daily cleaned pools is .5m - there are steps, and some gentle graduation to allow even the tiniest of tots to paddle - please note these are not heated and not chlorinated so none of that swimming pool smell to contend with.

Well recommended - we're going back again next year..
