Surprised at Lack of Customer Service

by bellavida9920

My short stay at the Inn was uncomfortable to say the very least. On the night I checked in, the staff was well aware of a hot water issue that spanned during the course of the day; however, no one informed me at time of check-in. Instead, I was notified by a late night letter that was slid underneath my room door about having no hot water. To top it off, the letter, which was poorly executed, provided some instructions. I followed said instructions that concluded with contacted the front desk to have maintenance sent to the room for further assistance. The front desk rep did not care about the situation and took a tone of voice with me as if I was bothering her. She had no sense of urgency or desire for service recovery. She even mumbled "Oh my God" as I was trying to express my dissatisfaction. Needless to say, I had to settle for not being granted a room change and had to suffer through ice cold showers until the next evening after work.

Wedding Group

Beautiful inn, but some careless mistakes made. I was part of a wedding and they did not give us a bridal suite until a half hour before the wedding. we were given conference rooms, but then had to transport our things from one building to another while dressed. The Inn also did not provide the bride with the room she booked to change into her wedding dress. Lastly, the prices were inconsistent. My friends and I paid a range of $180-300 for the same type of room on the same night.
