Beautiful room, lovely area

by Candice C

Beautiful place, more remote location. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very attentive and polite. Just know that although it's 2 miles from town, it's a long 2 miles! ???? We opted not to take the carriage from the dock... big mistake, even though the bulk of our luggage went on ahead, we were still carrying other bags. It was our mistake that I didn't pay attention to this part, once we learned the short cut, it was an easier walk!

We loved both the Inn and Mackinaw Island! Was our first trip but will definitely not be the last! We loved how remote it seemed but was a great walking distance into town. The inn and our room were so quaint and romantic.
