Reviews

Nice, clean and quiet.

For those who are coming to Washington DC for business or just traveling, I recommend this lovely, clean and nice Inn.
It is very close to Iwo Jima memorial statue and from there 25 minutes walking to the city center, White House etc.
15 minutes to the opposite way will take you to Georgetown University.
The Inn prices are extremely low. The staff is very helpful (Amaha you're the great!!)
Enjoy your stay.

Close to the City

We stayed here during a scorching hot September weekend. We had 2 rooms which were adequate and reasonably sized for the price. They had a fridge and coffee making facilities which was handy.

The beds in one of the rooms were very hard. The room next door had very soft beds which felt a little like a water bed. We swapped half-way through with my family next door as they preferred a hard bed and vice-versa.

The shower didn't work in one of the rooms and was only fixed the night before we were due to leave. So glad we had 2 rooms as everyone shared the working shower in the meantime.

The hotel itself is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and only a short walk to restaurants, bars and a 7-eleven. It is about 10mins to walk to the metro and from there just a couple of stops to the national mall.

Breakfast provided in the reception area included tea/coffee, bagels, toast, porridge and fruit. However, there wasn't a lot of room so we had to wait in turns one after each other.

One thing to note. Checkin was closed at 9pm and as our flight landed around that time I had to phone to request "late checkin". However, this wasn't a problem and the man on duty that evening kindly waited up and checked us in when we arrived.

Overrall, an adequate hotel at a very good price close enough to the centre of the city but far enough away for some peace and quiet.
