Not the newest hotel but wow what a view

by erica32paulk

The view is amazing you can't get a bad room in this hotel both sides are water front and you can either wake up to a gorgeous sunrise or go to bed with an equally beautiful sunset. The staff was very nice. Also a decent breakfast in the morning. The room was very clean loved the shampoo. The floors were a bit squeaky but I'm assuming it's from the water that sometimes rises on the peninsula. We woke up early each morning the sunrises were worth it. There were nice chairs to sit on out on the balcony and a fishing dock on the back half of the hotel. Also with a really good seafood restaurant next door this was a nice retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Definitely will come back.

Great location but dirty room.

We love the location of this hotel. All rooms have water views, with osprey nests nearby. There is an excellent restaurant next door. We had a 2 room suite for us and 2 of our granddaughters. The layout was great, but we had the dirtiest room I have stayed in for many years. The walls were streaked with dirt, and the area behind my bed table had an inch of dirt and crap. I had to wipe the lamp down before using it because it was so dusty. We will stay elsewhere the next time we come to Piney Point.
