This was our second stay at Jamaica Inn. Lovely location wonderful service. I asked for applesauce in the dining room. Not on menu. They bought apples and made me applesauce serving it each night we were there. One evening it was hot on the patio. I jokingly said to server if only you had a floor fan. Somehow or other he found one just for us.
Every morning we had room service on our lovely patio right on the water. Evenings were full of Jamaican music and dinner of the freshest fish always interestingly prepared. This is a quality place.
Such a beautiful hotel and I can see why people return again and again. I would say that it must be one of the very best hotels in the world, from the natural beauty, the features of the rooms, and the lovely staff.
The rooms nestle around a gorgeous private beach where you can swim in the clean waters. There is also a pool. I didn’t try the spa but it looks lovely. I did yoga there one morning.
Breakfast was very tasty. In the evening there is a band playing while you relax with a cocktail or enjoy your evening meal.
If you get a chance you should do the garden tour with head gardener Mr Henry, which ends with sampling of local fruit such as papaya, mango, sweetsop, June plum and banana.
I would love to return one day.
