By far the most personal and custom service we’ve experienced in our lives. Highly attentive without being over-bearing or pretentious. Everything is flexible and tailored - there are not set schedules or required windows for activities like lunch or dinner. The adventure starts at the airport where you will be immediately on safari! We saw giraffes, water buffalo and kudo on the way to the lodge which is about 20-40 min depending on how long you view the animals you spot.

Your ranger/guide (Liesa was phenomenal!) is the primary contact throughout the visit and works with your party to build your daily itinerary to suit your needs and wants. The entire staff listens and remembers your preferences (eg. food, drinks, etc) and shares those across the whole team. They communicate when you leave the room so housekeeping can tidy up while you are away. The accommodations are high-class (British feel) safari themed. The shower is a cool experience because of the glass walls exposed to the river bed so you can spot any near by animals. The plunge pools are well kept and offer a chance to spot animals while soaking.

They don’t nickel and dime the extras like laundry or mini bar (all included!). Meals were 5-star and the chef always presents the menu 1:1 to discuss options and preferences. Every bite was a treat.

Loved that the safari vehicles have a roof for sun protection. Liked not having the tracker (feels more intimate and it’s fun to be the first one who spots the animal). Ponchos, water, binoculars, sunscreen, bug spray and blankets are all available on the truck. Morning rides may offer coffee/tea and sunset evening with your favorite beverage if animal viewing is slow.

Liesa (our ranger) made the experience. She got us in front of all the animals we could have imaged and our wish list was complete! She is a great conversationalist and is a lot of fun to talk to. She gave us just enough info about the reserve, the elephants and all the other animals in the area. We heard lots of stories and got a few fun behind the scenes peeks as well!

Loved every second. We are now spoiled and have too high of expectations for life. We’d love to come back! It was well worth the 20-hour commute for the US.

Fantastic place and experience. Great people, great food and the accommodation is great. We really enjoyed our stay and would do it al over again. The elephants are a highlight of the trip, but the whole experience is great
