Bitterly disappointing.....

by 414lisaf12

Staff grumpy and unwelcoming, room tired, old and smelly. On top of this building works around the pool being carried all day from 6am to 6pm needless say we stayed for only one and checked out next day. Awful place!

Disappointing stay

by Perselli93

We arrived at the Jayakarta Hotel after staying in a luxury hotel on the island, Gili Trawangan. We were hugely disappointed when we arrived, as we spent £200 more to stay at Jayakarta than we did at the hotel on GT. Jayakarta didn’t meet our expectation and I feel as if the photos of the hotel were taken 10 years ago and aren’t a true representation of what we really stayed in. At first, we were given a room with a door that could have come off its hinges at any moment. After complaining we were moved to another room but this was really basic and we felt as if it was unclean from the amount of ants that kept appearing. The rooms need renovating and modernising massively and even though the staff were lovely, the maintenance element of the hotel really lets it down and we won’t be staying here again.
