Kahana Beach Resort is located on beachfront property north of Lahaina. Rooms showcase a tropical decor with bamboo furniture and colorful accents. Don’t be surprised to see a lei hanging off your bed frame to welcome you to Hawaii! Families can look out at the ocean, while relaxing on their balcony. Select units also feature dining tables, living areas and kitchenettes with microwaves, refrigerators and sinks. Larger rooms have oversized bathrooms with double vanities. Outside the rooms, children can play in the beachfront pool and Jacuzzi. The ocean is so close that the waves are audible from the rooms. Guests often go on whale-watching tours, snorkel the reef or play water sports. Restaurants are within walking distance of the resort.

The only upside to this resort is the beachfront location. The staff was not friendly, communicative, and have very limited hours. The room had both a funky fishy smell (possibly from the previous guest cooking?) and also a general muskiness about it. The murphy bed, was lumpy and not supportive.
When we called for more pillows and towels we were told the staff was no longer working; it was 4 pm!
It's your vacation, spend your time and money somewhere friendlier and nicer.
Clean room, excellent view! Nice location, far enough away from the big resorts and crowds but close enough to all of the places we wanted to go. Our first trip to Hawaii was a not a disappointment. Thanks!
