Boat trip to Lagoon Harbout

by Pl H

We boated here this year to go for lunch, we were there two years ago and enjoyed it.
This time we got there, no one spoke English or very little, we sat on the patio and waited to be served for over 20 minutes, no one came out to serve anyone, people who were out their were eating food they brought?????
We went back to our boat and made our own food, we won't be back unless it is to go to the restaurant at the back by the marina.

The place has gone down hill

My family had a time share at the Harbour Inn for over 25 years starting back in the 80's. We had so many great years here and happy memories and the owners and staff were always wonderful. Staying there now was disheartening to say the least. It seems like since it's been under new ownership and under the Knights Inn franchise it's being run into the ground. Many of the amenities that used to be offered by the inn are now gone, the atmosphere is so much less welcoming and it seems like the owners and staff just don't care at all and yet the price for a nights stay has increased tremendously. I saw that they had gotten rid of the hot tub, paddle boats, library and game room. The rooms no longer have a kitchenette and you have to pay to rent a microwave which used to come with the room. It's a real shame that such a gem has gone to ruin. I brought my husband here to show him where I had so many wonderful childhood memories and instead we both had a miserable weekend. Would not recommend staying here now.
