Looks Like What You Get

by guerrym2015

This was recommended by a relative, so don't let the external appearance scare you off. We must have gotten the smallest room there (8A), but for one night it was clean and fine. The bed was reported as a queen and was so soft the Princess could have felt a flea underneath the mattress. This softness deconstructed the edges of the mattress making sitting on the edge of the bed impossible. You immediately slide to the floor. Entering the bed was OK, but getting up was kind of a game. This place also is NOT recommended by the ADA, and the owners mentioned that climbing a few stairs would be required and walking was unpredictable with uneven ground and walkways. If these facts do not apply to you, then the KKM is a reasonable example of older Florida traditions and is recommended for quality and value.

Felt like I was in Hawaii.

The room was spectacular, very clean, and smelled tropical. The pool was heated which was great. There was Tiki Statues that we took pictures of. If I ever go to the west coast of Florida, I'm booking this place again and again. I definitely recommend it. My son was in Awe when we walked in to the room. He told me to rate it a 5 Star Motel.
