Kuramathi Island Resort is in Rasdhoo Atoll. It is 20 minutes by seaplane and approximately 90 minutes via speedboat from Male airport. The two-bedroom Beach Houses are the ideal pick for families visiting Kuramathi; the duplex villas have separate rooms and they’re right next to the beach.
Kids will love the Bageecha kids’ club, which will entertain children with treasure hunts, nature walks and guided snorkeling. It also has two play areas, a game room and a crèche for the under-3 set. The facilities and staff are committed to providing fun and excitement in a perfectly safe environment, allowing parents to relax and unwind with no concerns. For families with older children, there is a gym, three swimming pools and a floodlit tennis court, as well as snorkeling, SCUBA diving and trips out with the resident marine biologist.

started with a fantastic flight of approx. 30 minutes to the island, in a water fly, views of the most beautiful islands ... stunning.
meting staff who explained various things such as where to eat, activities, and more ,
and then to our bongalow, which was near the beach . What a beautiful place.
the beaches were of the softest sand, the water looked so clean and there was a lot to see under the water .. at one point I managed to swim with 4 sharks at about 1.5 m, an experience for life.
the scenery was so unspoilt, everything was clean and nice ... the food was good, the service super and the staff were nice and helpful. we loved being there, looking forward to coming back. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you to the staff for making our holiday unforgettable
We stayed for a week in deluxe water villa. We didn’t even know there are 2 all inclusive plans and also upon check in no one offered us an option to upgrade to select all inclusive.
Deluxe water villa is amazing and impeccable clean. We were only bothered by the fact that room service is non-exstisting. You can only bring 2 cans of beer per person to the room (basic AI).
We spent majority of our time in Laguna bar which has amazing staff and every cocktail you can think of. Sand bank is nice for a snorkel/swim but no shade or sun beds. Snorkeling gear is complimentary but we felt ripped off when they wanted 25 USD for SUP rental for 1hr.
We skipped breakfast almost every morning and went straight to the gym which is OK and never crowded. They serve amazing freddo espressos and capuccinos in the pool bar next to the gym. Breakfast is served only until 10:00 therefore we attended lunch which is served from 12:30 until 14:30. Food is good and you can find a lot of vegan options. Buffet dinner is served from 19:30 onwards, in between you cannot snack anywhere except in coffee shop (between 15:00-17:00) where the food options are very limited. To be honest I was hungry most afternoons and was snacking on nuts served in Laguna bar. They could at least offer some fruit or light snacks.
The stay was overall ok, the nature on the island is amazing but it is not typical AI resort in terms of the food. You have to time your meals in order to not be hungry.
In the evenings there is a live music in chosen bars as well as movie nights. We had shisha one night in Dhoni bar at charge of 35 USD.
Wifi works ok in the majority of the places except during the sunset time in Laguna bar as it gets quite busy.
We would probably not return to the resort as it did not meet our expectations for the price paid.
Oh, and the most annoying thing was signing a 0 USD bill everytime we had some drinks (room number, surname and signature).
