This was our second stay at this hotel. Since our first stay it has become La Quinta under Wyndham. The hotel was immaculate. The staff was great and the location is excellent. It is near many restaurants, both chain types and individual bistro types. Close to the beach and at the gateway to Sanibel Island. We choose La Quinta because we travel with our pet. There were many others in the hotel but you did not know it unless you saw someone walking their dog. The hotel looks and smells fresh. Our room was immaculate and our bathroom looked like the fixtures had just been updated. Our only disappointment was in the quality of the breakfast which by comparison to other LQ's we have stayed in could use some upgrading. Overall, this is a great hotel and we will return.

Check in was quick and friendly. However, soon as you walked into the room, it had a strong smell of weed. It took a few hours to air it out, but everytime you came back into the the room you could smell it. Not sure if it was directly in the room or coming in from outside, but it was strong.

The A/C was also very noisy during the night.
