TripAdvisor Rating

Las Vegas Hilton sits just off Las Vegas Boulevard, near to but far enough away from the central energy of the Strip for a more peaceful setting. The monorail stops outside Las Vegas Hilton, making it easy to get around the area. This hotel is the largest Hilton in the world, housing rooms, suites and villas with plush bedding, plasma televisions and in-room refrigerators. One- and two-bedroom suites offer additional space to spread out, living rooms and butler kitchens. Huge villas put guests in the lap of luxury with three bedrooms, separate living and dining rooms and full kitchens. There is a restaurant for every mood and craving at the Hilton. Families can dine in casual atmospheres or enjoy a fancier meal. For fun, there are six tennis courts, a large pool with surrounding cabanas and a 25-seat Jacuzzi. The Knight Gallery displays rock & roll photography and art. The Las Vegas Country Club golf course is adjacent to the hotel. Dinner shows, Elvis impersonators, concerts and comedians perform at the hotel. Unlike most areas accommodations, families can stay at the hotel and pay no resort fees.

Stayed for a conference for 3 days and extra 2 days...Enjoyed the quick check in and the size of the room with 2 beds...Had difficult adjusting the TV that was timed and had to keep program going by re-starting it every hour to to 2 hours. Had difficulty adjusting the climate control and light switch and had to call housekeeping to fix it on my first night. Wifi was not consistent with my laptop and cell phone, had to go to the front desk every day for 4 days to adjust it. When leaving on my last day, service to take my bags downstairs to the shuttle was delayed, so had to do it on my own...when I got to the lobby, Security Officer Thomas Douglas helped me get my bags to the shuttle. He was very pleasant and did not take any tips as he told me that it was a policy that security personnel did not earn tips. Thanks to him I was able to get my bags to the shuttle area.
I think the hotel can improve by providing information in the room about their special services like free shuttle to the strip and downtown hotels, shows that are playing in their hotel, a map of the hotel, etc. I had to call everytime I needed to find out anything about the hotel....thus the average rating.
