Definitely not a 4star hotel

by mandi19732014

Despite the hype this is definitely not a 4* hotel. Yes it has its own beach and lovely gardens although not private, with nice fittings. However the area it’s in leaves alot to be desired.
The buffet breakfast is average. Because of this we didn’t try the other meals and went outside the hotel where there are a few restaurants which i wouldn’t recommend from a hygiene point of view.
No tea and coffee making facilities. Towels looked and felt like they were 10years old. Shower horrendous, in 5 days we had hot water once!
On arrival air con not working but after 2 calls they did come fix it but you don’t have temperature control!
Best thing about the hotel was the house keeping staff. Have stayed in far superior hotels for a third of the price.

Did not go, wasited money

Did not go as we could not find any reasonal airfare from Dallas. Texas to the island. When reservations were made 10/18 American flew thru Miami. When time to book no flights were available for less than $2000 or as much as $4000 per person coach. Would not recommend this resort for anyone in the mid-west.
