While outside and inside of the hotel wasn’t too appealing, I was amazed by how wonderful our room
turned out to be. We checked in late around 9:30pm and we were granted complimentary late check out till 2pm. We walked into a updated, clean, nicely decorated room with a view of the clock tower. Shower was powerful - which is very important after a long day of excursions.toiletries were great. But the beds do need some work. Our bodies kept falling into the center of the bed which was annoying and the pillows weren’t too comfortable. People from the front desk to general services was warm and polite. Parking is $$$. But we downloaded an app - spot hero - where it helped us find a parking garage directly across the street for $19(after first time user coupon) for 24hrs of parking!! Hotel is also walking distance to the Reading Terminal - definitely win win! FYI - from the looks of it, not every room get the city view or a outdoor view at all. So make sure to ask for that when booking!
two people made this stay memorable -- Ms. Moore and Mr. Johnson at the front desk. Hotel is sleek, comfortable and in an excellent location...walking distance to the barnes foundation, for example, and a short ride to the old city. room was clean, nicely appointed, and quiet. Bathroom towels -- one of my personal quirk key measures -- are thick and fluffy. The lobby breakfast buffet was mediocre, in my opinion -- especially at a price of $!5 per person.
