No complaints, everything was all good. Nice people at the hotel and restaurant, who were helpfull when needed! We really liked the restaurant with the italian quisine. The little beach and pool we didn`t reall yuse others than for a sun downer.
Let's be honest, choice of good hotels in La Digue is rather limited, especially in the charmless town/big village La Passe.
However, this boutique hotel proved to be wonderful and the best amongst the 3 hotels we tried during our stay.
From the reception check-in, to the restaurant, and check-out ... all ran seamless.
Service was excellent, and everyone made sure we had a great time.
Value was great as well, a rare thing in the Seychelles islands.
Our room was tastefully done, in a very nice contemporary style, with firm and comfy Kingsize bed, great bath, lovely terrace with a garden and seaview, bathrobes and slippers, and great amenities.
Restaurant (see review) is probably the best in La Digue, and always full. Breakfast is quite good, with real Italian cappuccinos, fresh baked croissants and bread, homemade yogurt, delicious poached eggs, porridge, French toast with real maple syrup, etc, etc.
Beautiful little flower garden with 2 small pools, and a lovely beach with lots of loungers, as well as free kayaks.
The only (minor) point is that our room, in the main building, was located right over the very good, hence busy restaurant, which is noisy most nights ( but only till 10.30), so if you fancy going to bed early, ask for a room away from the restaurant.
Apart from that, everything is totally delightful, and from now on, this will be our prime choice in La Digue!
