This luxury boutique hotel, located in downtown Vancouver, has 77 rooms and offers a host of amenities, including free Wi-Fi, fitness center, sauna, full-service spa, complimentary downtown drop-off service (based on availability) and complimentary cruiser bikes for cycling Stanley Park. The adjacent restaurant, Tableau Bistro, serves traditional French bistro cuisine, and covers breakfast, lunch and dinner. For families, the Loden Signature rooms feature one king, two queens or two doubles. The queen and double rooms have connecting room options (but no tub in the queen rooms). The One-Bedroom Suites include a living room area with a sofa bed, four-person dining area, minibar beverage cooler, Nespresso coffee machine, bathrobes and slippers and pillow selections from a menu. Kids at the Loden receive bathrobes, slippers, bath toys and games. Microwaves are available on request. For a true splurge, the Halo Penthouse features two bedrooms, a full kitchen and dining for six. Kids 16 and under stay free. Valet parking costs extra.

I loved the attention to detail like the staff calling me by name and all the thoughtful touches in the room - a glass of ice water upon check-in, the luxurious bathroom. The fitness facility is one of the best I've ever seen, even in much larger hotels. THis place is small but mighty.
