We booked 4 rooms with host Marielle and could not have been more pleased with every aspect of our 4-day stay. Maison du Fort is a historic building in the center of the old village. Located between La Citadelle, Hotel Frontenac and the St. Lawrence, we could walk to everything. Maryelle was very helpful with dining and other suggestions that made our visit to Quebec City a remarkable experience. Extremely clean and welcoming. We woke up every morning to the smell of warm pastries, fresh coffee, and a friendly "meow" from Oscar, le chat noir du maison! Magnifique.
My sister and I stayed for 3 nights. The location is excellent. Marielle and her cat, Oscar, are very welcoming. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We awoke to fresh baked breakfast items and a pot of coffee. The piano room is the breakfast area. You could also enjoy in your own room. We met some nice people from all over North America.
