Overview

Manor Cottage Bed and Breakfast in the historical part of town, Old Windsor, is a beautiful 18th Century English manor home that has been lovingly furnished by hosts Jan and Richard. The cottage has an incredible garden with roses, wild garlic and bluebell growing, and there is also a nearby paddock to explore. Manor Cottage is a mile and half out of Windsor town center, giving it a countryside feel.

There are three rooms available in the cottage and a 19th century Romany Gypsy caravan in the garden, which guests are able to stay in. As it’s a family home the couple tend to only rent out two rooms at a time so there is often a choice of room on early arrival. There are two en suite bedrooms and a triple room with its own private bathroom. The Gypsy caravan has just a cozy double bed, but small families could share if they wish.

Stayed 3 nights and totally enjoyed our visit from start to finish, Jan & Richard are a lovely couple and run a great B&B, the breakfast is to die for. We had on suite which was perfect as other rooms don't, on arrival we had tea and cake and they explained what was around the area. We love walking so took the walk to Windsor in half hour, nice and flat and you can watch all the planes going to Heathrow. Super visit and was home from home, would stay again if down in the area.

Highly recommend

I recently stayed here for a weekend whilst attending a wedding and had the best stay. Richard and Jan are the perfect hosts and I would definitely look to revisit in the future! Every aspect of my stay was wonderful, from a warm welcome on arrival, the beautiful breakfast every morning up to the point of my departure.
