Marble Mountain Ranch offers families the ultimate dude ranch vacation in northern California. The all-inclusive, family-owned resort offers unplugged activities include horseback riding, river rafting, kayaking, clay shooting, and fly fishing. Paintball, ATV rides and special events (think barrel racing) are also part of the fun. Families stay in private cottages with kitchenettes or full kitchens.
Marble Mountain Ranch is ideal for family reunions and multigenerational getaways.

Our family of 6 stayed at MMR over the week of Fourth of July 2019. This was our second time doing a ranch-type family vacation, but our first time doing "saddle and paddle", and it was FANTASTIC. Our crew ranged in age from 3-39.
The food was great, we were very spoiled by Heidi's awesome cooking. You really build up an appetite, because the daily activities keep you hopping! AM was riding lessons/trail rides/shooting range and PMs were rafting/ATV's/4th of July fun. I would like to mention that Doug and the rafting guides are VERY serious about safety and did a great job explaining what to expect and keeping track of what was going on and where everyone was at. BELIEVE them when they say that the "adventure hike" is strenuous. It is worth it, but it is intense!
Having special activities for Independence Day was great too, my kids felt that they really got to celebrate and it was a big party with all of their new buddies.
The gun range was VERY safe and Doug and crew took time to explain their rules and general gun safety. We gained confidence in how to load/use the guns properly and liked axe throwing and archery too! Kids got a special paintball target shoot one day also.
We enjoyed getting to know the other families who were there, many had children in our kids' age range and in any free time all of them were roving around the ranch in a big posse.
The only small bummer was for my husband, who was sad that it wasn't fishing season in July... just a reason to come back!
First we would like to thank our gracious hosts Heidi and Doug and their wonderful staff! We had a wonderful time at the ranch! We had never been to a dude ranch and didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be back and encourage anyone who loves country adventure out doors to visit Marble Mountain Ranch! Our cabins were very clean and comfortable with all the comforts of home. The property is beautiful. There are so many fun things to do and see; horseback riding, ATV's, zip line, skeet shooting, river rafting, children's buckaroo program and arts & crafts, feeding chickens, goats rabbits, kittens and opportunity to harvest tomatoes and apples from ranch gardens. All activities included fantastic knowledgeable guides who were professional and caring about our safety providing guidance, training and sometimes history lessons during our activities! All activities are planned out in advance and are on time... no lines no confusion!! All meals were prepared on site by our hosts and their staff. The meals were excellent and plentiful, served family style with all guests together. There are lots of choices where you can enjoy your meals with plenty of space for all. Plenty of time and space to relax and explore the property. The only down side to this vacation was saying goodbye to our new friends and going home.
