With some of the best views in town, the Majestic View B&B lives up to its lofty name. It has a number of family-friendly rooms available. Ideal for families is the Moose Manor, a two-bedroom suite that can sleep six people comfortably. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room and a newly remodeled bathroom. Everywhere you look is that breathtaking view out the windows. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, DVD player and a huge deck for all guests to enjoy. Maria serves up a hot homemade breakfast, including fresh fruit, homemade muffins and her special Alaskan pancakes.

The B&B is 4 miles north of downtown Homer, in the quiet forested hills above Kachemak Bay. You’ll enjoy being away from the crowds, but it’s an easy 15-minute drive to reach a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Once in town, be sure to visit the Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center. It’s the best place to learn about the wildlife you’re sure to see during your time here. Follow the nature trail from the center to the tide pools near Bishop’s Beach. If you want to know more about the history of Homer, spend a few hours at the Pratt Museum a few blocks north of the beach. If you’re looking to catch some halibut or salmon, Maria’s husband runs fishing charters, as well as scenic and wildlife cruises. Guests of the B&B can get a deal on any of those. Maria’s Majestic View B&B will have you feeling right at home when you’re done with your daily adventures. It’s a great choice for your family vacation in Homer.

More Than A Fantastic View!

Maria’s hospitality and fantastic cooking was the best we’ve experienced. Homer was our favorite place to visit in Alaska and Maria made it feel like home. I can’t wait to go back. Her cookbook is the best! Check it out.

A little slice of heaven.

This is the best place I found to view Alaska. This was a ten day trip all over the state and I wish I had spent all ten days here. The view is like no other and it is so peaceful. You have to get up one morning in time to see the sunrise, it is beautiful. The spit, mountains, and inlet offer endless possibilities. Talk about great food, the breakfast that Maria cooked was also wonderful. I highly recommend Majestic View B&B if you are planning a trip to Alaska, We had the Blueberry Room and it offered a large room with awesome views.
