TripAdvisor Rating

Located within steps of Central Park, dogs and kids will love this newly opened pet-friendly hotel. Collaborating with stroller manufacturer Maclaren, guests have the opportunity to choose from a plethora of custom-designed strollers for a walk in the park or along Madison Avenue. Or grab a Mark Bike and pedal through Central Park for a picnic (gourmet picnic basket provided). Children are welcomed with snacks and treats upon arrival and a “slumber party” suite for families is available where young guests can stay in a tent inside the room. For children ages 10 to 13, The Mark offers tours of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, too.

The guestrooms offer free Wi-Fi and connecting rooms are available. The one to five bedroom suites offer a separate living area, kitchen, terrace and dining area. The onsite restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch.

Tennis at Open

by Cajun_traveler405

Traveled up to NY for business and tennis. Was at the Mark for five nights. Room was on third floor. Good sized for NY. Well laid out and nicely furnished. Room faced 77th st, which I understand is better than Madison. Still some street noise - sirens and trash cans being moved around, but NY... I like the Marks location because it is near the park. Central Park is a great feature as are museums which are also near by. Service was very good. We ate either at tennis or restaurants I enjoy nearby. We did have dinner at hotel one night and it didn’t disappoint. As I was there for tennis, it was nice to run across tennis players around the hotel. Only disappointment was kitchen fire early this morning, which prompted a couple of very loud alarms along with smoke smell that made it to third floor. No apology at check out or even discussion of event was surprising and why review went from five stars to four.

The best service!

We stayed in a spacious one bedroom suite with two full baths. The hotel is everything you would expect in a premier level property. Most impressive is how helpful and genuinely friendly all of the staff is.
