Lovely hotel near harbor

by lindabeth27

We stayed here for three nights in November. The hotel is lovely with nice sized rooms and bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We parked our car in garage and walked all over town. The only negative was that it was quite noisy at night.

Great location, great hotel

We arrived early at the hotel (2:00 p.m.) to find that our room was ready for us. Janine at the reception was very helpful and gave us an upgraded room. The room was looking out over the harbour and had a balcony. We also found a complementary bottle of wine for us in the room. This was not some cheap wine, but a good one from Sonoma California. We enjoyed it very much. The room was modern, clean and light. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel could not be better for exploring Key West. We walked everywhere and didn’t use the car during the whole stay. Mallory Square is 10 minutes away on foot. Being in the midst of things, the level of noise from outside was quite high on occasions, which was to be expected. But when closed, the windows sealed the noise out quite effectively.

We did not use any of the 3 pools, as we had too much to do in Key West. But they looked very nice and had plenty of loungers and towels. There was a long happy hour ‘til 9:00 p.m. at the pool bar with cheaper drinks and bites to eat. We unfortunately had no time to sample this.

We would recommend this hotel for its location, the high quality and finish of the hotel, the beachy ambience and the helpfulness of the very professional staff.
