Set a block off the Strip, this Marriott property is refreshingly family-friendly amidst the casino hotels filling the streets of Las Vegas. The hotel is comprised of two high-rise building that houses 768 guestrooms. Inspired by the South of France, elegant villas with one to three bedrooms are available. Larger families, or reunion groups, will enjoy the separate bedrooms, lock-off capabilities within suites and spacious living areas. Master bedrooms have a luxurious whirlpool bath with jets and a separate shower. Fully equipped kitchens contain all the necessities of cooking, including plates and silverware. Living rooms don large, flat-screen televisions and DVD players. Grocery shopping services will fill your refrigerator for you. A closet hides a stackable washer and dryer unit. Dining areas seat four people and there are two in each condo-style unit. These rooms have all the comforts of home and more.
The hotel has a heated rooftop pool that overlooks the Strip, offering beautiful views of the airport and mountain range just outside the city. An adjacent hot tub and a poolside bar are on the same level. The area is a hotspot for kids, and they swarm around, going back and forth between the hot tub and the pool. Pick up your towel before you enter the outdoor, stone pool pavilion.
Maze — a children’s indoor play area — is on the lobby level. This kid haven presents air hockey, television shows, arcade and video games. A marketplace shop sells travel accessories, beverages and snacks by the front desk. Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is down the block, but as the distances look larger on the ground than up in your sky-high hotel room, a complimentary shuttle takes guests from the hotel to the shopping center. This is a popular site for families as it has many casual and themed restaurants, like Pampas Churrascaria Brazilian Grille or Ocean One Bar& Grille.

We only stayed one night, and would gladly stay there again. From the young man Cordell who checked us in to the parking valet, housekeeping, and even the security personnel, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The location was perfect- near the strip, close enough to walk but far enough to have a quiet retreat. The room was super- clean, new, comfortable, spacious- with a king bed, kitchenette, table and chairs, and sofa. The bathroom was large as well, and well kept with wonderful quality toiletries. Also, the room was quiet and dark at night, which is often rare in a hotel... no noise and light creeping in from the hallway. Because we were only there one night, we didn’t partake of the amenities, but did check out the rooftop view where one of the pools and bars was. Fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel and found it worth the price. Pictures on their site are true to what we found.
What I love about this hotel is that you get exactly as promised. There is no wow factor like you enjoy with some of the mega hotels on the strip. Nonetheless it offers is a fantastic reliable product at a great price, in possibly the best location of the strip (be it a 2 minute walk to the strip itself).
We booked a one bedroom apartment. The space has been planned to perfection from an open plan kitchen, great eating area, very comfortable bedroom with a huge tub. We particularly enjoyed the washer/dryer and the ability to cook. (Two things we have never had the chance to enjoy whilst staying in the well known strip hotels).
I honestly don’t think you are missing out by staying in a non casino hotel as you have so many casino hotels within a stones throw away. Furthermore even though I have enjoyed some amazing experiences in other hotels, they can also be as disappointing as they can be exciting. This could be one of your most reliable options.
The view from the room is nice (but definitely nothing spectacular). Regardless of the view I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. I think this option would be great for families and for those who value home comforts, or simply looking for a well priced hotel. All in one a wonderful stay.
