Lobby didn't open till 8am for the Caribou coffee they touted.
Room was musty smelling
Housekeeping didn't clean coffee pot or empty grounds. Was told this is standard practice. Well, not for anywhere else I've ever stayed. They also didn't replace the empty box of tissues in the room.
Beds were just OK but small. Advertised as queen but I don't believe it (I didn't actually measure them.
The place is over the top in cuteness. Bears and owls on every wall. Too much!
Upon checking out, the desk asked about my stay. When I told her, she was dismissive.
I am so happy that I found this resort! We had a one night stay for my daughter's 9th birthday. The room was SO CUTE! It was decorated so lovely. The grounds are adorable too. We took a walk around the resort and you really have a camping vibe. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. My daughters are 9 and 10 so perhaps a better fit for younger kids but had we gone swimming they do have a normal pool so my daughters would have been entertained. I read other reviews that the beds are uncomfortable. I did not find that to be the case. I am not a good sleeper when I travel but I actually had a fantastic night sleep at this hotel. Free coffee in the lobby. I just wish the lobby would be open a bit earlier to enjoy the coffee (we were there a Thursday morning and could not get coffee until 8:00). I also thought check out was a bit early (10:00). I plan to stay here again for future Wisconsin Dell visits.
