Poor accommodations at The Tides

by chrissyracer

I was disappointed with the accommodations. My room had a loud buzzing noise coming from the interior walls. I determined that it was the sound of the elevator shaft. I requested another room and fortunately the hotel staff accommodated my room change. I expected the accommodations to be more modern and elegant for the price I paid of $225 per night. There were chips in the furniture. There was a rip in the front window blind. The carpet was worn and frayed. The interior of the elevators were shabby as well. There were scratches and marks on the interior walls of the elevator.

Old Friends

Each time we visit The Monterey Tides it feels like we are welcomed back into a family. The staff goes to great lengths to ensure that my family is taken care of in the best way. And there’s nothing like falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves against the shore.
