After checking in I went to my room, opened the door and immediately walked back to the front desk. I was certain they had put me in an upgraded room. I informed the gal at the front desk that I thought there'd been an error as the room she had assigned me had a full kitchen. She smiled and said "oh no ma'am, all our rooms have kitchens. " Wow! Even a full size refrigerator with an ice maker!
Now, I understand there is no free breakfast, however, I'd rather pay less for such a nice comfortable, CLEAN room, than have "free" breakfast, especially when there is a Cracker Barrell restaurant next door, or several fast food places within a mile that carry any thing you might get at a free hotel breakfast. Fast food breakfast + cheaper price on a clean, quiet hotel room = a great deal! And this place was CLEAN! (I know it's fairly new (5 years?) however faucets are shiny and bathroom was immaculate... looked brand new! The check in gal was great, so friendly and helpful. Can't say the same for the morning gal as she did not even look up as I rolled the luggage carrier by her. There was no "good morning" or "how was your stay" or any acknowledgement by her that I was even there. I did love the pictures in the room, pictures of beautiful Montana and not of some sort of abstract
artwork that I could not identify. Oh, and one last thing. As to no provisions for the extended stay people, perhaps putting a dishwasher in the utility room might not be a bad idea. That seems to be the only complaint people have had.
Was excited to see that a My Place hotel was located in Missoula. I love these hotels and would highly recommend them to anyone. The staff is friendly. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy for a great night sleep. Also very quiet.
