I stayed a week here, and it was really wonderful. The accommodation is lovely in small houses with 6 rooms in each, unless you book your own villa. There are two big pools - one close to the restaurant and the other closer to the reception and snack bar area (this one has its own pool bar). The beach is beautiful too, but you need to know, that there is a huge difference during low and high tide - up to 3-4 meters of difference, meaning that you cannot swim during low tide. Depending on how windy it is, there tends to be a bit of sea weed, but not all the time. The food was good, didn't vary hugely, and the service was friendly - sometimes a bit slow, but better get used to that because that is everywhere - Hakuna Matata!

Relaxing great place to unwind
Very friendly staff who really looked after us
Food was excellent at each meal and was buffet style with plenty of choices
Resort was secured by a team of security officers
Has a private beach but once you move off this you get pestered to buy all Manner of tourist nonsense
Once outside the hotel resort you see the real Zanzibar island and it’s a very different lifestyle but everyone we met was friendly and welcoming
Hotel offers a good selection of tours and arrange it for your satisfaction
We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone.
