Glenn Straub, the real estate developer who purchased Revel Casino-Hotel in Atlantic City, has big plans for the now-vacant property — he hopes to turn it into a mega resort, complete with a water park and high-speed ferry service from Manhattan, plus some gambling.

The water park would be the focus of the project, and The Press of Atlantic City quotes Straub as saying it’ll be “the largest of its kind in the world.” He plans to invest $108-million, and expects the park will feature both outdoor and indoor elements. Architectural renderings are currently in the works.

Revel-Casino Hotel will be removed from the name in a complete rebranding of the property. Atlantic City, as a whole, plans to attract more families with new resorts and attractions, which include a Garden State Discovery Museum expected to open in May.
