3rd Annual Adirondack Coast Festival Opens to Families

The third annual Adironadack Coast Wine, Cider and Beer Festival is returning to Plattsburgh, N.Y., and for the first time, children are welcome to the event.

The one-of-a-kind festival in the Adirondacks will take place October 11, from 2 to 7 p.m., and will feature a day of arts presented by The Strand Center for the Arts. Included in the day will be free kids crafts, drawing and clay wheel demonstrations, a Mud & Marquette clay class, and more.

Of course, the event will also feature wine, cider, beer and farm products from local vendors.

General admission with beverage tasting ticket and tasting glass is $25 if purchased in August or September and then $30 in October. Children 5 to 20 are $3 through September, or $5 in October, with children 5 and younger free. A VIP ticket includes tasting and glass, one food ticket, trolley ticket and wine tote for $35 through September, or $40 in October. Designated Driver admission (not participating in tastings) are $10 through September, and $15 in October. Purchase tickets by visiting the Adirondack Coast Wine Trail website.
