AAA Survey: Multi-Generational Vacations Are On the Rise

A recent National AAA Travel Survey reveals more evidence that multi-generational travel is on the rise: 36 percent of travelers plan to take a multi-generational trip within the next 12 months. That’s a 4 percent increase over 2013.

While most plan to travel with extended family — particularly three generations — 15 percent of respondents say they’ll travel with their grandchildren only; 5 percent will vacation with grandparents.
