Iowa’s Adventureland Park is bringing a new monster to its amusement park in 2016 when it introduces The Monster.

The new steel coaster, the Monster, will send riders around 2,500 feet of track, including a 101-degree drop from 133 feet. The ride will replace the park’s 40-year-old water flume ride. In order to fit into the space, the coaster will be developed through and around the neighboring Sky Ride, and riders on the Monster will twist and turn through the Sky Ride eight times.

The Monster is scheduled to open at Adventureland in June 2016.
