Amtrak has announced it will bring a vintage car back to New York for six weeks, Sept. 25 to Nov. 4.
The “Great Dome,” built in 1955, will feature views of fall foliage in Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. Riders will also have a chance to enjoy panoramic vistas from upper-level seating.
The car will operate from Albany to Montreal on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays, and from Montreal to Albany on Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays.
