Wisconsin’s “Malibu of the Midwest” Lake Michigan coastline in Sheboygan has welcomed the area’s only indoor double surf simulator, so kids can catch a wave in the Midwest year-round.

The new Riptide double surf simulator is joining the 54,000-square-foot entertainment area and water park at Blue Harbor Resort. The simulator allows for riders to boogie-board or stand-up surf. The indoor attraction is available year-round, including cooler early summer days. The resort’s water park also features a 3,600-square-foot lazy river, four swimming pools, and an interactive lighthouse-themed splash fort with a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket, suspension bridges, web crawls and water spray affects. During the warmer months, guests may also enjoy sailing, paddle boarding, boating and fresh water surfing on the lake.
