“There’s no business like show business”… especially when it comes to exorbitant ticket costs. Luckily, families will be able to catch a break in January, when Broadway will welcome kids at no cost.

The program, called Kids’ Night on Broadway, is available Jan. 9 to 15, 2015 (conveniently during New York Hotel Week), and includes free admission for children ages 6 to 18 when accompanied by a paying adult. Applicable shows include (but are not limited to):

– “Wicked”
– “Aladdin”
– “Chicago”
– “Mamma Mia”
– “The Lion King”
– “You Can’t Take It With You”
– “On the Town”
– “Matilda the Musical”
– “The Phantom of the Opera”
– “Jersey Boys”
– “Beautiful – The Carole King Musical”
– “The Curios Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”
– “Rock of Ages”
– “Les Miserables”
– “Side Show”
– “If/Then”

Families can also receive deals at local restaurants and attractions. And if you can’t get to New York City, don’t worry — touring shows are also participating; these include “Cinderella” in West Palm Beach on Nov. 11 and “Newsies” in Pittsburgh on Nov. 25.

Tickets are now available at KidsNightOnBroadway.com.
