No, it isn’t a New Year’s Eve prediction. Busch Gardens Tampa will welcome its newest thrill ride in 2016, named Cobra’s Curse. The spin coaster will become the newest feature in the Floridian theme park’s skyline in May 2016.

Riders on Cobra’s Curse will take a vertical life up before spun around a track in a four-person car that spins riders around to face one other. The ride is named for the 80-foot-tall Cobra that rises up to meet the coaster as it begins its descent on 2,100 feet of track. Passengers won’t travel more than 40 miles per hour, but the spinning will make this ride a surefire treat to Busch Gardens’ many tricks.

The new ride will be located in the new Egypt land at Busch Gardens Tampa.
