Camelback Resort’s new Camelback Lodge in the Pocono Mountains will be debuting first-of-its-kind experiences when it opens in April. The $163-million, 453-room lodge also includes the 170,000-square-foot Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark. Guests will be the first to discover the unique experiences, including:

Kartrite’s Quest
This new play structure is being touted as the world’s first “next generation” fully themed and immersive multi-level AquaPlay structure. Like most water play structures, children will find a giant dumping bucket and interactive water effects. However, unlike other structures, the new structure is also educational with themed elements such as Flags of the World, navigation symbols, constellations and more.

Storm Chaser
This new water coaster will be the longest indoor, uphill water coaster in North America. Rising 756 feet, riders on the one- or two-person tube slide travel uphill before maneuvering through fully enclosed and dark sections of the slide, four curves and five drops.

Venus SlydeTrap
This three-to six-person family rafting tub slide is the only combination raft ride of its kind. The 600-foot-long, fully enclosed family ride drops riders into a 16-foot sphere, where they bank around a 90-degree turn before plunging back into darkness, propelling to wall crawling Zero-G, and plunging into a pool below.

The new rides will open with the lodge in April at Camelback Resort in Tannersville, Pennsylvania.
