Carnival Cruise Lines is debuting its new kids’ program this Memorial Day Weekend with the launch of Camp Ocean on Carnival Freedom. The new program divides children by age groups: “Penguins” (ages 2 to 5), “Sting Rays” (ages 6 to 8) and “Sharks” (ages 9 to 11) in an ocean-themed kids’ club. The supervised programs will provide a camp-like environment for children, with educational, yet fun arts, crafts, games, parties and more.

The new program replaces Carnival’s Camp Carnival kids’ clubs and will rollout redesigned spaces across the Carnival fleet by 2016. Carnival Magic, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Triumph will receive the new clubs and programs later this year.

Carnival’s Circle C and Club O2 ‘tweens and teens programs will not be receiving any changes.
