Celebrity Cruises has received Silver Level Autism Friendly certification from the Autism on the Seas, a travel organization that caters to travelers with autism and other developmental disabilities.

In order to obtain the certification, Celebrity introduced a number of Autism-Friendly services and amenities, and must conform to seven categories: cruise staff training, youth programming, pre-vacation planning and services, dining, disability accommodations, guests satisfaction and support for Cruises with Autism on the Seas staff.

Celebrity’s training and programs includes a kid-friendly program for children ages 3 to 11. The youth program, Fun Factory, provides autism-friendly, toy-lending services so children can enjoy play in the comfort of their own cabin or around the ship.
