One day following the U.S. Senate passing a bill to require airlines to offer families seats together, Frontier Airlines introduced a new program to allow parents to reserve seats for their kids next to them at free or low rates.

Low-cost carriers, such as Frontier, have increased ancillary revenues by charging customers whom opt to choose their seats instead of have them chosen for them.
