Cirque du Soleil and MSC Cruises have announced a new partnership that will bring an exclusive new artistic performance to the European-based cruise line.

Guests aboard MSC’s Meraviglia ships will be the first to enjoy the new Cirque du Soleil shows in a new dining and restaurant venue featuring Cirque designs. The $21-million investment includes custom-built features to MSC’s Aft lounge, which will be transformed into the Cirque performance lounge, complete with 450 seats and a 200-seat dining area, as well as new technology and designs to accompany the exclusive show. Cirque will offer twice-nightly performances, six days per week, aboard four Meraviglia ships. The first of these new-generation ships will launch in 2017 as MSC Meraviglia.
