The all-suite Conrad New York hotel, located in Lower Manhattan, is continuing to add to its array of family-friendly offerings. Its newest program is guaranteed to heat up fall visits when kids have a chance to cook in the kitchen with the hotel’s Chef Cardoso.

Cardoso is leading cooking classes at Conrad’s Mediterranean ATRIO restaurant. Kids ages 6 and older can take part in three classes available this fall, beginning with a Desserts 101 course taking place this Sunday. Kids will make chocolate cups with ice cream and assorted madeleine cookies, and will receive pint-sized chef’s hats, recipe cards, and brunch vouchers for mom and dad to enjoy while kids are cooking.

Additional classes include Mediterranean Tapas & Halloween Sweets on Oct. 25 and Holiday Cookie Decoration on Nov. 1. Classes run from 2 to 5 p.m. and cost $60 per child. Reservations should be made directly through Conrad New York.
