“Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” a film produced by Disney, is slated to open in theaters to much anticipation this Christmas, but fans of the Star Wars series will get a chance to ride the Millennium Falcon before the movie’s release. Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Dream is converting its Oceaneer Club into a Force-filled play area in “Star Wars: Millennium Falcon.”

Kids ages 3 to 12 will be transported to a galaxy far, far away in the newly designed Disney’s Oceaneer Club, set to resemble the interior of Han Solo’s spaceship, the Millennium Falcon. Kids will have a chance to join the Rebel Alliance and battle evil by sitting in the cockpit and “flying” the ship through hyperspace and light speed jumps.

The enhanced Disney Dream, which will also include a new Disney Infinity attraction and the addition of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, will debut on October 26 when the ship takes a four-day cruise to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral. The ship will continue with three- and four-night cruises throughout 2016.
